Was terrific being a part of this wedding with local ties! The groom had actually grown up on Maui’s west side & as a kid played on the beach that we went to for sunset photos. He was telling us stories of some of his adventures & exploits, so I thought it was so cool to come full circle to this place that means so much to him & his family. Both their families were super fun & later in the evening the dance floor was lit up with wild alcohol fueled crazy dancing that you gotta love on a wedding day! "How cool would it be to grow up and tell your kids you married your high school sweetheart?" Congrats to Katie & Louie whose first date was in high school & and then they went their separate ways for awhile & then reconnected & voila- now their married! Love their story & had so much fun creating imagery of their beautiful wedding day. What a dream to marry next to pacific blue surrounded by adoring family on the perfect evening. Just before sunset we whisked up to Gannons Restaurant to celebrate the day with cheers & deliciousness!
