Welcome to my “Last Page of Favorites,” a personal gallery where I share some of my favorite images from across Maui and the Hawaiian Islands. This collection is meant to give you a glimpse into who I am and the deep passion I have for my craft.

It has been a joy going through my archives to curate these selections. In this gallery, you will see photos of my family and grandkids, coverage of various musicians I have been fortunate to photograph, and numerous scenic shots from across the islands. My love for photography extends far beyond my professional work; I have been chasing the perfect light for decades. While I specialize in surprise engagements, weddings, and family photography, I personally love searching for beautiful landscapes. I also still enjoy covering various sports, reflecting my original aspiration to be a sports photographer.

Regarding my equipment, I have been a Nikon user since receiving an FE2 as a high school graduation gift from my father. I recently upgraded to the Nikon Zf, which pairs a “retro” look and familiar controls of my  original Nikon FE2, with the advanced technology of the Z8. One of my favorite features is the dedicated lever that allows me to switch instantly from color to black and white. While I love the vibrant colors of Hawaii, I find that some of the most poignant moments are best captured in B&W, and the ability to switch formats instantly is invaluable.
