Perfectly Planned Proposal Pulled Perfectly ! There was magic happening at the Fairmont Kea Lani as all the elements came together, including the element of Surprise! Summer & Jaden walked down from their villa @fairmontkealani hand in hand dressed for dinner, but he took a detour where they walked up to the Pacific Terrace and he dropped to a knee in front of a STUNNING Heart of Roses & popped the question! Of course she screamed "YES!" Then in her excitement started jumping up & down when she realized that it was actually happening! Was such a JOY to witness this fantastic moment! Later I learned that Summer and her family had been coming to the Fairmont Kea Lani since she was a little girl and her dream was to get proposed there & voile it happened! Of course the venue was super fabulous with the canopy draped in flowing fabric and the flowers were as beautiful as sny I have ever seen! Truly, one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever been apart of! Hammer Time! Congrats to all the riders participating in the 2025 Cycle to The Sun bicycle race from Paia to the Summit of Haleakala! 10,023 Feet of hard climbing won by @iron_hawaiian from Oahu w a ripping time of 3 hour 1 minute! Truly astonishing! Was almost a perfect day for a bicycle race w blue skies and just a little bit of wind! Donnie Arnoult of @mauicyclery was race director of this incredible event & ran it flawlessly with tons of volunteers helping from sea level to the summit! Thanks to @haleakalanps for their dedication to helping keep this a safe event, with no issues whatsoever from beginning to end! Was so fortunate to travel to Kauai for this lovely wedding at The Luxurious 1 Hotel in Hanalei Bay! The couple was so sweet & the location of the wedding was literally steps from Hanalei Bay with gorgeous trees providing shade and adding to the majesty of the location! After the short ceremony and some family pics we headed upstairs for the cocktail reception. The spot where the reception was being hosted had this magnificent view of the ENTIRE BAY & STUNNING VIEWS of the HANALEI MOUNTAINS! Truly one of the most gorgeous venues to make memories & a start to a marriage! The Magical Maui Wedding of Karen & Javier was Absolutely stunning in every way! With literally thousands of roses & flowers adorning every single surface and the Epically Amazing location and the overcast conditions we were in for a treat! Then when we made our way down to the beach for sunset, the sun burst through the clouds & the B&G were almost weeping because it was so beautiful! Then in the most beautiful & selfless moment a group of strangers on the beach yelled out for Karen to throw her bouquet! Karen, on the spot decided to do it and the beach ERUPTED in APPLAUSE as Karen threw it & this young woman caught it with a gigantic smile on her face! Then Karen gave the stranger her bouquet. Absolutely a beautiful moment! Back at the venue @djdanmaui got the party ROCKIN & everyone danced including the flower girl who was only like 3 years old! Truly a night to remember! And my trigger finger was busy shooting some 2700 images! Holy Moly! Absolutely Stunning Surprise Proposal! Hunter had reached out to me about making this happen and with a plan in place I positioned myself on the North Side of Kapalua Bay where they walked from their rental. Walking down on to the beach Aaliyah had zero expectations on how her life was about to change! Hunter walked her down to the water’s edge and told her all the things. Dropping to a knee, you can see in the images her excitement at what was being said & of course she said YES! This is absolutely my very favorite thing to photograph amongst all the amazing moments I get to witness! But seeing her reaction, and the way they held each other so tightly for nearly a full five minutes, before he turned her around and pointed to me when she realized she had just been proposed to. Hunter had gone over the top with a HUGE diamond and the way she looked at & her excitement was breathtaking! Was such a fun shoot even getting a little silly w us their hair covering each other’s faces & laughing about it the whole time. The start of the sunset was sort of bland but Maui delivers at the very end lighting up the sky in gorgeous color! The last shots of the night were taken from behind as they walked hand in hand to Merrimans where I had recommended they go ! @merrimansevents luckily had a two top open up & the next day they told me how terrific their engagement dinner was how perfect the whole day has unfolded! As I said earlier my very most favorite thing to photograph are SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT PROPOSALS and this was one for the books! Get A Handle On Your Camera
Thank You So Much for your recent purchase as I am deligheted to have you on the Get A Handle On Your Camera Team.
Here’s some tips on using Get A Handle On Your Camera.
- There are two mounting positions on each handle. Try mounting your handle to camera to each posotion & see which position you prefer. Use the included screwdriver to tighten the screw to your mounting hole on the bottom of your camera. Do not overtighten, but make sure it is snug. There are two washers on the screw as well. If you change the postion of the screw, you might need to take one or both off to have it tighten firmely. Be careful to Not overtighten.
- Keep the screwdriver with your spare batteries
- When you need to do a battery change, loosen, but do not remove screw.
- Rotate the handle out of the way and replace your battery.
- Rotate handle back into position & Retighten screw.
- The leather grip needs to be conditioned periodically with saddle soap or a leather conditioner. Doing so frequently, especially in the first month of ownership will make the grip soft & supple in your hand.
- Using Get A Handle On Your Camera with small lenses all the way to 70-200 F 2.8 Lenses will be no problem. However, just use common sense if you are using really big lenses like a 300 F2.8 or larger. Obviously large lenses might need extra support as you are manipulating your camera.

Perfectly Planned Proposal Pulled Perfectly ! There was magic happening at the Fairmont Kea Lani as all the elements came together, including the element of Surprise! Summer & Jaden walked down from their villa @fairmontkealani hand in hand dressed for dinner, but he took a detour where they walked up to the Pacific Terrace and he dropped to a knee in front of a STUNNING Heart of Roses & popped the question! Of course she screamed "YES!" Then in her excitement started jumping up & down when she realized that it was actually happening! Was such a JOY to witness this fantastic moment! Later I learned that Summer and her family had been coming to the Fairmont Kea Lani since she was a little girl and her dream was to get proposed there & voile it happened! Of course the venue was super fabulous with the canopy draped in flowing fabric and the flowers were as beautiful as sny I have ever seen! Truly, one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever been apart of! Hammer Time! Congrats to all the riders participating in the 2025 Cycle to The Sun bicycle race from Paia to the Summit of Haleakala! 10,023 Feet of hard climbing won by @iron_hawaiian from Oahu w a ripping time of 3 hour 1 minute! Truly astonishing! Was almost a perfect day for a bicycle race w blue skies and just a little bit of wind! Donnie Arnoult of @mauicyclery was race director of this incredible event & ran it flawlessly with tons of volunteers helping from sea level to the summit! Thanks to @haleakalanps for their dedication to helping keep this a safe event, with no issues whatsoever from beginning to end! Was so fortunate to travel to Kauai for this lovely wedding at The Luxurious 1 Hotel in Hanalei Bay! The couple was so sweet & the location of the wedding was literally steps from Hanalei Bay with gorgeous trees providing shade and adding to the majesty of the location! After the short ceremony and some family pics we headed upstairs for the cocktail reception. The spot where the reception was being hosted had this magnificent view of the ENTIRE BAY & STUNNING VIEWS of the HANALEI MOUNTAINS! Truly one of the most gorgeous venues to make memories & a start to a marriage! The Magical Maui Wedding of Karen & Javier was Absolutely stunning in every way! With literally thousands of roses & flowers adorning every single surface and the Epically Amazing location and the overcast conditions we were in for a treat! Then when we made our way down to the beach for sunset, the sun burst through the clouds & the B&G were almost weeping because it was so beautiful! Then in the most beautiful & selfless moment a group of strangers on the beach yelled out for Karen to throw her bouquet! Karen, on the spot decided to do it and the beach ERUPTED in APPLAUSE as Karen threw it & this young woman caught it with a gigantic smile on her face! Then Karen gave the stranger her bouquet. Absolutely a beautiful moment! Back at the venue @djdanmaui got the party ROCKIN & everyone danced including the flower girl who was only like 3 years old! Truly a night to remember! And my trigger finger was busy shooting some 2700 images! Holy Moly! Absolutely Stunning Surprise Proposal! Hunter had reached out to me about making this happen and with a plan in place I positioned myself on the North Side of Kapalua Bay where they walked from their rental. Walking down on to the beach Aaliyah had zero expectations on how her life was about to change! Hunter walked her down to the water’s edge and told her all the things. Dropping to a knee, you can see in the images her excitement at what was being said & of course she said YES! This is absolutely my very favorite thing to photograph amongst all the amazing moments I get to witness! But seeing her reaction, and the way they held each other so tightly for nearly a full five minutes, before he turned her around and pointed to me when she realized she had just been proposed to. Hunter had gone over the top with a HUGE diamond and the way she looked at & her excitement was breathtaking! Was such a fun shoot even getting a little silly w us their hair covering each other’s faces & laughing about it the whole time. The start of the sunset was sort of bland but Maui delivers at the very end lighting up the sky in gorgeous color! Perfectly Planned Proposal Pulled Perfectly ! There was magic happening at the Fairmont Kea Lani as all the elements came together, including the element of Surprise! Summer & Jaden walked down from their villa @fairmontkealani hand in hand dressed for dinner, but he took a detour where they walked up to the Pacific Terrace and he dropped to a knee in front of a STUNNING Heart of Roses & popped the question! Of course she screamed "YES!" Then in her excitement started jumping up & down when she realized that it was actually happening! Was such a JOY to witness this fantastic moment! Later I learned that Summer and her family had been coming to the Fairmont Kea Lani since she was a little girl and her dream was to get proposed there & voile it happened! Of course the venue was super fabulous with the canopy draped in flowing fabric and the flowers were as beautiful as sny I have ever seen! Truly, one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever been apart of! Hammer Time! Congrats to all the riders participating in the 2025 Cycle to The Sun bicycle race from Paia to the Summit of Haleakala! 10,023 Feet of hard climbing won by @iron_hawaiian from Oahu w a ripping time of 3 hour 1 minute! Truly astonishing! Was almost a perfect day for a bicycle race w blue skies and just a little bit of wind! Donnie Arnoult of @mauicyclery was race director of this incredible event & ran it flawlessly with tons of volunteers helping from sea level to the summit! Thanks to @haleakalanps for their dedication to helping keep this a safe event, with no issues whatsoever from beginning to end! Was so fortunate to travel to Kauai for this lovely wedding at The Luxurious 1 Hotel in Hanalei Bay! The couple was so sweet & the location of the wedding was literally steps from Hanalei Bay with gorgeous trees providing shade and adding to the majesty of the location! After the short ceremony and some family pics we headed upstairs for the cocktail reception. The spot where the reception was being hosted had this magnificent view of the ENTIRE BAY & STUNNING VIEWS of the HANALEI MOUNTAINS! The Magical Maui Wedding of Karen & Javier was Absolutely stunning in every way! With literally thousands of roses & flowers adorning every single surface and the Epically Amazing location and the overcast conditions we were in for a treat! Then when we made our way down to the beach for sunset, the sun burst through the clouds & the B&G were almost weeping because it was so beautiful! Then in the most beautiful & selfless moment a group of strangers on the beach yelled out for Karen to throw her bouquet! Karen, on the spot decided to do it and the beach ERUPTED in APPLAUSE as Karen threw it & this young woman caught it with a gigantic smile on her face! Then Karen gave the stranger her bouquet. Absolutely a beautiful moment! Back at the venue @djdanmaui got the party ROCKIN & everyone danced including the flower girl who was only like 3 years old! Truly a night to remember! And my trigger finger was busy shooting some 2700 images! Holy Moly! Absolutely Stunning Surprise Proposal! Hunter had reached out to me about making this happen and with a plan in place I positioned myself on the North Side of Kapalua Bay where they walked from their rental. Walking down on to the beach Aaliyah had zero expectations on how her life was about to change! Hunter walked her down to the water’s edge and told her all the things. Dropping to a knee, you can see in the images her excitement at what was being said & of course she said YES! This is absolutely my very favorite thing to photograph amongst all the amazing moments I get to witness! But seeing her reaction, and the way they held each other so tightly for nearly a full five minutes, before he turned her around and pointed to me when she realized she had just been proposed to. Hunter had gone over the top with a HUGE diamond and the way she looked at & her excitement was breathtaking! Was such a fun shoot even getting a little silly w us their hair covering each other’s faces & laughing about it the whole time. The start of the sunset was sort of bland but Maui delivers at the very end lighting up the sky in gorgeous color! The last shots of the night were taken from behind as they walked hand in hand to Merrimans where I had recommended they go ! @merrimansevents luckily had a two top open up & the next day they told me how terrific their engagement dinner was how perfect the whole day has unfolded! Perfectly Planned Proposal Pulled Perfectly ! There was magic happening at the Fairmont Kea Lani as all the elements came together, including the element of Surprise! Summer & Jaden walked down from their villa @fairmontkealani hand in hand dressed for dinner, but he took a detour where they walked up to the Pacific Terrace and he dropped to a knee in front of a STUNNING Heart of Roses & popped the question! Of course she screamed "YES!" Then in her excitement started jumping up & down when she realized that it was actually happening! Was such a JOY to witness this fantastic moment! Later I learned that Summer and her family had been coming to the Fairmont Kea Lani since she was a little girl and her dream was to get proposed there & voile it happened! Of course the venue was super fabulous with the canopy draped in flowing fabric and the flowers were as beautiful as sny I have ever seen! Truly, one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever been apart of! Hammer Time! Congrats to all the riders participating in the 2025 Cycle to The Sun bicycle race from Paia to the Summit of Haleakala! 10,023 Feet of hard climbing won by @iron_hawaiian from Oahu w a ripping time of 3 hour 1 minute! Truly astonishing! Was almost a perfect day for a bicycle race w blue skies and just a little bit of wind! Donnie Arnoult of @mauicyclery was race director of this incredible event & ran it flawlessly with tons of volunteers helping from sea level to the summit! Thanks to @haleakalanps for their dedication to helping keep this a safe event, with no issues whatsoever from beginning to end! Was so fortunate to travel to Kauai for this lovely wedding at The Luxurious 1 Hotel in Hanalei Bay! The couple was so sweet & the location of the wedding was literally steps from Hanalei Bay with gorgeous trees providing shade and adding to the majesty of the location! After the short ceremony and some family pics we headed upstairs for the cocktail reception. The spot where the reception was being hosted had this magnificent view of the ENTIRE BAY & STUNNING VIEWS of the HANALEI MOUNTAINS! The Magical Maui Wedding of Karen & Javier was Absolutely stunning in every way! With literally thousands of roses & flowers adorning every single surface and the Epically Amazing location and the overcast conditions we were in for a treat! Then when we made our way down to the beach for sunset, the sun burst through the clouds & the B&G were almost weeping because it was so beautiful! Then in the most beautiful & selfless moment a group of strangers on the beach yelled out for Karen to throw her bouquet! Karen, on the spot decided to do it and the beach ERUPTED in APPLAUSE as Karen threw it & this young woman caught it with a gigantic smile on her face! Then Karen gave the stranger her bouquet. Absolutely a beautiful moment! Back at the venue @djdanmaui got the party ROCKIN & everyone danced including the flower girl who was only like 3 years old! Truly a night to remember! And my trigger finger was busy shooting some 2700 images! Holy Moly! Absolutely Stunning Surprise Proposal! Hunter had reached out to me about making this happen and with a plan in place I positioned myself on the North Side of Kapalua Bay where they walked from their rental. Walking down on to the beach Aaliyah had zero expectations on how her life was about to change! Hunter walked her down to the water’s edge and told her all the things. Dropping to a knee, you can see in the images her excitement at what was being said & of course she said YES! This is absolutely my very favorite thing to photograph amongst all the amazing moments I get to witness! But seeing her reaction, and the way they held each other so tightly for nearly a full five minutes, before he turned her around and pointed to me when she realized she had just been proposed to. Hunter had gone over the top with a HUGE diamond and the way she looked at & her excitement was breathtaking! Was such a fun shoot even getting a little silly w us their hair covering each other’s faces & laughing about it the whole time. The start of the sunset was sort of bland but Maui delivers at the very end lighting up the sky in gorgeous color! The last shots of the night were taken from behind as they walked hand in hand to Merrimans where I had recommended they go ! @merrimansevents luckily had a two top open up & the next day they told me how terrific their engagement dinner was how perfect the whole day has unfolded! As I said earlier my very most favorite thing to photograph are SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT PROPOSALS and this was one for the books! Plantation House Kapalua Wedding
Oh my goodness this wedding was something else. Absolutely a fairytale wedding for Temako & Earl. Their backstory is incredible with Earl sweeping her off her feet for years & when both of their dads were sick he would drive 1.5 hours to go see one parent & then turn around to go see the other parent almost daily. When he finally asked her, she immediately knew the location as they had an amazing lunch there years before & the wedding was set.
Finally the day of the wedding comes & it is a beautiful day, except there are constant rain squalls that keep moving through. The groom is standing at the altar in perfectly sunny weather & then his bride walks in & right when she meets him at the altar, the first squall hits with a sudden downburst, but it was no matter to this sweet couple. About one minute later the squall moved past & the sun lit everything up & the wedding continued. Four more one minute squalls came & went along with their rainbows & finally they kissed & made it official. I love that the weather was not going to dampen the mood & the proceedings! Later we got the huge wedding party to hook arms walking on the greens of this perfectly manicured course as they laughed & had so much fun.

The Magical Maui Wedding of Karen & Javier was Absolutely stunning in every way! With literally thousands of roses & flowers adorning every single surface and the Epically Amazing location and the overcast conditions we were in for a treat! Then when we made our way down to the beach for sunset, the sun burst through the clouds & the B&G were almost weeping because it was so beautiful! Then in the most beautiful & selfless moment a group of strangers on the beach yelled out for Karen to throw her bouquet! Karen, on the spot decided to do it and the beach ERUPTED in APPLAUSE as Karen threw it & this young woman caught it with a gigantic smile on her face! Then Karen gave the stranger her bouquet. Absolutely a beautiful moment! Back at the venue @djdanmaui got the party ROCKIN & everyone danced including the flower girl who was only like 3 years old! Truly a night to remember! And my trigger finger was busy shooting some 2700 images! Holy Moly! Absolutely Stunning Surprise Proposal! Hunter had reached out to me about making this happen and with a plan in place I positioned myself on the North Side of Kapalua Bay where they walked from their rental. Walking down on to the beach Aaliyah had zero expectations on how her life was about to change! Hunter walked her down to the water’s edge and told her all the things. Dropping to a knee, you can see in the images her excitement at what was being said & of course she said YES! This is absolutely my very favorite thing to photograph amongst all the amazing moments I get to witness! But seeing her reaction, and the way they held each other so tightly for nearly a full five minutes, before he turned her around and pointed to me when she realized she had just been proposed to. Hunter had gone over the top with a HUGE diamond and the way she looked at & her excitement was breathtaking! Was such a fun shoot even getting a little silly w us their hair covering each other’s faces & laughing about it the whole time. The start of the sunset was sort of bland but Maui delivers at the very end lighting up the sky in gorgeous color! The last shots of the night were taken from behind as they walked hand in hand to Merrimans where I had recommended they go ! @merrimansevents luckily had a two top open up & the next day they told me how terrific their engagement dinner was how perfect the whole day has unfolded! Perfectly Planned Proposal Pulled Perfectly ! There was magic happening at the Fairmont Kea Lani as all the elements came together, including the element of Surprise! Summer & Jaden walked down from their villa @fairmontkealani hand in hand dressed for dinner, but he took a detour where they walked up to the Pacific Terrace and he dropped to a knee in front of a STUNNING Heart of Roses & popped the question! Of course she screamed "YES!" Then in her excitement started jumping up & down when she realized that it was actually happening! Was such a JOY to witness this fantastic moment! Later I learned that Summer and her family had been coming to the Fairmont Kea Lani since she was a little girl and her dream was to get proposed there & voile it happened! Of course the venue was super fabulous with the canopy draped in flowing fabric and the flowers were as beautiful as sny I have ever seen! Truly, one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever been apart of! Hammer Time! Congrats to all the riders participating in the 2025 Cycle to The Sun bicycle race from Paia to the Summit of Haleakala! 10,023 Feet of hard climbing won by @iron_hawaiian from Oahu w a ripping time of 3 hour 1 minute! Truly astonishing! Was almost a perfect day for a bicycle race w blue skies and just a little bit of wind! Donnie Arnoult of @mauicyclery was race director of this incredible event & ran it flawlessly with tons of volunteers helping from sea level to the summit! Thanks to @haleakalanps for their dedication to helping keep this a safe event, with no issues whatsoever from beginning to end! Was so fortunate to travel to Kauai for this lovely wedding at The Luxurious 1 Hotel in Hanalei Bay! The couple was so sweet & the location of the wedding was literally steps from Hanalei Bay with gorgeous trees providing shade and adding to the majesty of the location! After the short ceremony and some family pics we headed upstairs for the cocktail reception. The spot where the reception was being hosted had this magnificent view of the ENTIRE BAY & STUNNING VIEWS of the HANALEI MOUNTAINS! Had absolutely the best experience photographing Kimberly & Marie Claire’s nuptials. Love and Laughter & more Love and Laughter made my heart burst with happiness for these two. Dating for a decade they finally made it official! Their sweet wedding was high on the hill above Lahaina at a private house. They listened to the powerful & wise words of @kale.kaalekahi who is truly an inspiration in our ministerial community. Afterwards we journeyed to some off the beatin path locations on Maui’s West Side & finished when the sun went down. Perfectly Planned Proposal Pulled Perfectly ! There was magic happening at the Fairmont Kea Lani as all the elements came together, including the element of Surprise! Summer & Jaden walked down from their villa @fairmontkealani hand in hand dressed for dinner, but he took a detour where they walked up to the Pacific Terrace and he dropped to a knee in front of a STUNNING Heart of Roses & popped the question! Of course she screamed "YES!" Then in her excitement started jumping up & down when she realized that it was actually happening! Was such a JOY to witness this fantastic moment! Later I learned that Summer and her family had been coming to the Fairmont Kea Lani since she was a little girl and her dream was to get proposed there & voile it happened! Of course the venue was super fabulous with the canopy draped in flowing fabric and the flowers were as beautiful as sny I have ever seen! Truly, one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever been apart of! Hammer Time! Congrats to all the riders participating in the 2025 Cycle to The Sun bicycle race from Paia to the Summit of Haleakala! 10,023 Feet of hard climbing won by @iron_hawaiian from Oahu w a ripping time of 3 hour 1 minute! Truly astonishing! Was almost a perfect day for a bicycle race w blue skies and just a little bit of wind! Donnie Arnoult of @mauicyclery was race director of this incredible event & ran it flawlessly with tons of volunteers helping from sea level to the summit! Was so fortunate to travel to Kauai for this lovely wedding at The Luxurious 1 Hotel in Hanalei Bay! The couple was so sweet & the location of the wedding was literally steps from Hanalei Bay with gorgeous trees providing shade and adding to the majesty of the location! After the short ceremony and some family pics we headed upstairs for the cocktail reception. The Magical Maui Wedding of Karen & Javier was Absolutely stunning in every way! With literally thousands of roses & flowers adorning every single surface and the Epically Amazing location and the overcast conditions we were in for a treat! Then when we made our way down to the beach for sunset, the sun burst through the clouds & the B&G were almost weeping because it was so beautiful! Then in the most beautiful & selfless moment a group of strangers on the beach yelled out for Karen to throw her bouquet! Karen, on the spot decided to do it and the beach ERUPTED in APPLAUSE as Karen threw it & this young woman caught it with a gigantic smile on her face! Then Karen gave the stranger her bouquet. Absolutely a beautiful moment! Back at the venue @djdanmaui got the party ROCKIN & everyone danced including the flower girl who was only like 3 years old! Truly a night to remember! Absolutely Stunning Surprise Proposal! Hunter had reached out to me about making this happen and with a plan in place I positioned myself on the North Side of Kapalua Bay where they walked from their rental. Walking down on to the beach Aaliyah had zero expectations on how her life was about to change! Hunter walked her down to the water’s edge and told her all the things. Dropping to a knee, you can see in the images her excitement at what was being said & of course she said YES! This is absolutely my very favorite thing to photograph amongst all the amazing moments I get to witness! But seeing her reaction, and the way they held each other so tightly for nearly a full five minutes, before he turned her around and pointed to me when she realized she had just been proposed to. Hunter had gone over the top with a HUGE diamond and the way she looked at & her excitement was breathtaking! Was such a fun shoot even getting a little silly w us their hair covering each other’s faces & laughing about it the whole time. The start of the sunset was sort of bland but Maui delivers at the very end lighting up the sky in gorgeous color! The last shots of the night were taken from behind as they walked hand in hand to Merrimans where I had recommended they go ! @merrimansevents luckily had a two top open up & the next day they told me how terrific their engagement dinner was how perfect the whole day has unfolded! Before your big day
- Great Communication is important to me! I love having a great conversation at the beginning of our working together & figuring out all the details. Once we get closer if there are still things to go over please don’t hesitate to TEXT or call, 808-283-0617 as I’m very available.
- The first thing we need to do is get you on my calendars, so please fill out the event form & I’ll get you set up & locked in.
- Highly Experienced! Having been a professional photographer for more then two decades, I have shot thousands of weddings, engagement sessions and family get togethers! I have seen it all, I know my lighting and quick to react to situations and finding solutions. With my decades of experience I am expert at creating, or helping create a timeline that works and accounts for the actual time it takes for certain aspects and timing of events from the photographer’s perspective. This is considering sunset & all the other components of the wedding or event.
Please don’t hesitate to ask for help as I am a valuable resource even if your coordinator has created a timeline.
- I have the BEST photography gear including the very latest NIKON Z Cameras & Profoto Off Camera Lighting! Always upgrading to the latest & greatest!
- Love getting to know my clients before they come to Hawaii. One thing that I find I really enjoy is becoming friends on Instagram or Facebook as it is great getting to see your excitement leading up to the big day, so please reach out on social media & lets become friends.

What to expect on your big day?
- Your wedding/event day is everything & making it AMAZING is my job! Arriving early, well dressed, enthusiastic, well prepped with top of the line photography gear (& backup) is my mission!
- With unfamiliar locations I like to go early on the day of the event, & scout areas so I know the lay of the land, see the lighting that is happening at that moment & find great spots for creating imagery.
- During the wedding/event, I like to observe and am constantly searching for candid, fleeting moments, but also can help direct if needed. Sometimes I like to set up shots in a certain location because of its beauty, but even with a set up shot, I am encouraging the couple to help create real, undirected, candid moments.
- I find that I easily connect with my clients, at the end of the evening it’s like I am photographing my friend’s wedding/event.
- I always ask what specific image or images are important to my clients & if there is a specific style of photography they prefer. Understanding what is important to them gives me a clear goal throughout the shoot.
- Receiving a shot list of specific people can help in making sure no important images/people are mistakenly left out!
- I am constantly on the search for beautiful lighting & exquisite locations, but am prepared with off camera lighting, in case it is not. I do a mixture of shooting with both natural lighting & off camera lighting to best accentuate the situation. Being prepared with all the tools to create unique imagery is important to me & often I will bring my tripod specifically to shoot long exposure images as I love that silky water look in some images.
- Fully insured and can produce the documentation to your coordinator/venue if needed.
- For most small weddings/events I am very comfortable & skilled working by myself. For some events I might need an assistant (boat wedding) & for some larger weddings/events a second or third shooter is available. Some of my larger photo packages include a second shooter.
- I generally shoot about 200-400 images per hour. The more Candid/Fun/Crazy my clients are getting the more I shoot! (The opposite is also true).
- I do a full edit on ALL Images I shoot & deliver to the client. After the client see’s their photos, I also offer a second “Minor” edit on their very favorite images.
- There is a 50% non-refundable retainer fee is due at the time of signing of agreement, with the remaining balance due in the week prior to the event or the day of the event.
After the wedding/event what can you expect?

Fast Turn Around is Important to me!

I LOVE sharing images right away and know the importance of getting images to you soon after the event. So I generally try to get Social Media teaser images or Reference Images to you within 12-36 hours after the event, (or sooner)
- Teaser images or (Social Media Images) are thoroughly gone through & edited. Of course I’m making sure that you look good and the images are well edited.
- What is the difference bewteeen Hi Res Images & Social Media Images? High Res Images are anywhere in between 20 MB per image & 50 MB per image & obviously will print very well, but not great for the other ways that we use images. Social Media Images are purposely made much smaller so they are easily sent by text message, email, to have on your phone & of course for social media. If you look closely at any images on my website, Instagram or Facebook pages you will see a tiny logo in the upper right corner. These images are typically about 1500 pixels wide on the longest edge.
- In about 2-3 weeks+ I will do a full edit on ALL IMAGES & deliver them via my online proofing site. If you have an ALL IMAGES Photo Package you will immediately be able to Download All Images with no watermarks. If you chosen one of my smaller photo packages, you will be able to choose your images included in the photo package & share them with me via the online proofing website. I then will do a second “Minor” edit specifically on those images & share them back to you in Hi Res with no watermarks. If you have an ALL IMAGES package you can still choose your very favorite images that you want additional editing done to & share those with me where I will do a second “Minor” edit on those images too.

Congrats to all the riders participating in the 2025 Cycle to The Sun bicycle race from Paia to the Summit of Haleakala! 10,023 Feet of hard climbing won by @iron_hawaiian from Oahu w a ripping time of 3 hour 1 minute! Truly astonishing! Was almost a perfect day for a bicycle race w blue skies and just a little bit of wind! Donnie Arnoult of @mauicyclery was race director of this incredible event & ran it flawlessly with tons of volunteers helping from sea level to the summit! Thanks to @haleakalanps for their dedication to helping keep this a safe event, with no issues whatsoever from beginning to end! Was so fortunate to travel to Kauai for this lovely wedding at The Luxurious 1 Hotel in Hanalei Bay! The couple was so sweet & the location of the wedding was literally steps from Hanalei Bay with gorgeous trees providing shade and adding to the majesty of the location! After the short ceremony and some family pics we headed upstairs for the cocktail reception. The Magical Maui Wedding of Karen & Javier was Absolutely stunning in every way! With literally thousands of roses & flowers adorning every single surface and the Epically Amazing location and the overcast conditions we were in for a treat! Then when we made our way down to the beach for sunset, the sun burst through the clouds & the B&G were almost weeping because it was so beautiful! Then in the most beautiful & selfless moment a group of strangers on the beach yelled out for Karen to throw her bouquet! Karen, on the spot decided to do it and the beach ERUPTED in APPLAUSE as Karen threw it & this young woman caught it with a gigantic smile on her face! Then Karen gave the stranger her bouquet. Absolutely a beautiful moment! Back at the venue @djdanmaui got the party ROCKIN & everyone danced including the flower girl who was only like 3 years old! Truly a night to remember! Absolutely Stunning Surprise Proposal! Hunter had reached out to me about making this happen and with a plan in place I positioned myself on the North Side of Kapalua Bay where they walked from their rental. Walking down on to the beach Aaliyah had zero expectations on how her life was about to change! Hunter walked her down to the water’s edge and told her all the things. Dropping to a knee, you can see in the images her excitement at what was being said & of course she said YES! This is absolutely my very favorite thing to photograph amongst all the amazing moments I get to witness! But seeing her reaction, and the way they held each other so tightly for nearly a full five minutes, before he turned her around and pointed to me when she realized she had just been proposed to. Hunter had gone over the top with a HUGE diamond and the way she looked at & her excitement was breathtaking! Was such a fun shoot even getting a little silly w us their hair covering each other’s faces & laughing about it the whole time. The start of the sunset was sort of bland but Maui delivers at the very end lighting up the sky in gorgeous color! The last shots of the night were taken from behind as they walked hand in hand to Merrimans where I had recommended they go ! @merrimansevents luckily had a two top open up & the next day they told me how terrific their engagement dinner was how perfect the whole day has unfolded! Perfectly Planned Proposal Pulled Perfectly ! There was magic happening at the Fairmont Kea Lani as all the elements came together, including the element of Surprise! Summer & Jaden walked down from their villa @fairmontkealani hand in hand dressed for dinner, but he took a detour where they walked up to the Pacific Terrace and he dropped to a knee in front of a STUNNING Heart of Roses & popped the question! Of course she screamed "YES!" Then in her excitement started jumping up & down when she realized that it was actually happening! Was such a JOY to witness this fantastic moment! Later I learned that Summer and her family had been coming to the Fairmont Kea Lani since she was a little girl and her dream was to get proposed there & voile it happened! Of course the venue was super fabulous with the canopy draped in flowing fabric and the flowers were as beautiful as sny I have ever seen! Truly, one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever been apart of! Diana & Joe were celebrating in Maui & decided on a photoshoot. The day of the shoot at the gorgeous Four Seasons Maui the weather turned rainy so we decided the best spot was their 5th floor room overlooking the immaculate grounds of the hotel & suddenly the sun peaked through the rain & clouds & turned brilliant. With their glasses filled they toasted to the occasion & each other with this incredible backdrop.

Perfectly Planned Proposal Pulled Perfectly ! There was magic happening at the Fairmont Kea Lani as all the elements came together, including the element of Surprise! Summer & Jaden walked down from their villa @fairmontkealani hand in hand dressed for dinner, but he took a detour where they walked up to the Pacific Terrace and he dropped to a knee in front of a STUNNING Heart of Roses & popped the question! Of course she screamed "YES!" Then in her excitement started jumping up & down when she realized that it was actually happening! Was such a JOY to witness this fantastic moment! Later I learned that Summer and her family had been coming to the Fairmont Kea Lani since she was a little girl and her dream was to get proposed there & voile it happened! Of course the venue was super fabulous with the canopy draped in flowing fabric and the flowers were as beautiful as sny I have ever seen! Truly, one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever been apart of! Hammer Time! Congrats to all the riders participating in the 2025 Cycle to The Sun bicycle race from Paia to the Summit of Haleakala! 10,023 Feet of hard climbing won by @iron_hawaiian from Oahu w a ripping time of 3 hour 1 minute! Truly astonishing! Was almost a perfect day for a bicycle race w blue skies and just a little bit of wind! Donnie Arnoult of @mauicyclery was race director of this incredible event & ran it flawlessly with tons of volunteers helping from sea level to the summit! Thanks to @haleakalanps for their dedication to helping keep this a safe event, with no issues whatsoever from beginning to end! Was so fortunate to travel to Kauai for this lovely wedding at The Luxurious 1 Hotel in Hanalei Bay! The couple was so sweet & the location of the wedding was literally steps from Hanalei Bay with gorgeous trees providing shade and adding to the majesty of the location! After the short ceremony and some family pics we headed upstairs for the cocktail reception. The spot where the reception was being hosted had this magnificent view of the ENTIRE BAY & STUNNING VIEWS of the HANALEI MOUNTAINS! Laughter and Love are the very Best things to wear when you’re celebrating 20 years married! The Magical Maui Wedding of Karen & Javier was Absolutely stunning in every way! With literally thousands of roses & flowers adorning every single surface and the Epically Amazing location and the overcast conditions we were in for a treat! Then when we made our way down to the beach for sunset, the sun burst through the clouds & the B&G were almost weeping because it was so beautiful! Then in the most beautiful & selfless moment a group of strangers on the beach yelled out for Karen to throw her bouquet! Karen, on the spot decided to do it and the beach ERUPTED in APPLAUSE as Karen threw it & this young woman caught it with a gigantic smile on her face! Then Karen gave the stranger her bouquet. Absolutely a beautiful moment! Back at the venue @djdanmaui got the party ROCKIN & everyone danced including the flower girl who was only like 3 years old! Truly a night to remember! And my trigger finger was busy shooting some 2700 images! Holy Moly! Absolutely Stunning Surprise Proposal! Hunter had reached out to me about making this happen and with a plan in place I positioned myself on the North Side of Kapalua Bay where they walked from their rental. Walking down on to the beach Aaliyah had zero expectations on how her life was about to change! Hunter walked her down to the water’s edge and told her all the things. Dropping to a knee, you can see in the images her excitement at what was being said & of course she said YES! This is absolutely my very favorite thing to photograph amongst all the amazing moments I get to witness! But seeing her reaction, and the way they held each other so tightly for nearly a full five minutes, before he turned her around and pointed to me when she realized she had just been proposed to. Hunter had gone over the top with a HUGE diamond and the way she looked at & her excitement was breathtaking! Was such a fun shoot even getting a little silly w us their hair covering each other’s faces & laughing about it the whole time. The start of the sunset was sort of bland but Maui delivers at the very end lighting up the sky in gorgeous color! The last shots of the night were taken from behind as they walked hand in hand to Merrimans where I had recommended they go ! @merrimansevents luckily had a two top open up & the next day they told me how terrific their engagement dinner was how perfect the whole day has unfolded! As I said earlier my very most favorite thing to photograph are SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT PROPOSALS and this was one for the books!
